Application Overview
China has abundant groundwater reserves, which are the main source of water for production and living in many areas. However, due to China's large population, the huge spatiotemporal differences in water resources, coupled with enormous waste and pollution in actual water use, the usable amount of groundwater has been severely reduced, causing many practical problems such as ground subsidence and lake drying. This necessitates strengthening groundwater monitoring to guide the rational use of water by humans.
System Overview
The WH312 corrosion-resistant level measuring instrument is designed for continuous level measurement of wastewater or various corrosive media. Its basic component is a corrosion-resistant capacitive ceramic sensor. Through reasonable and precise structural design and thick-film technology, temperature compensation and V/I conversion are achieved. The polytetrafluoroethylene shell is fully sealed, and the polytetrafluoroethylene cable with a vent tube allows the sensor back pressure cavity to communicate with the atmosphere, thus creating a 4-20mA or 0-10V signal output industrial standard product with stable and reliable performance. The ceramic sensor, the basic component of the WH312 corrosion-resistant level meter, is flush-mounted for easy cleaning of media contaminants adhering to the sensor diaphragm. It meets the needs of industrial wastewater media viscosity compatibility.

I. Specific Requirements
Requisition Unit: Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Geology and Minerals
Operating Environment: 3 salt wells, 300 meters deep. The medium is brine and other corrosive media. Various products of different principles have been used before, and basically they cannot work normally in 2-3 months. High-performance products with corrosion resistance are required.
Monitoring Requirements: Long-term automated monitoring to improve office efficiency and reduce labor input;
Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness;
Ensure long-term operation under 300 meters of water and a highly corrosive environment.
II. Operating Condition Assessment:
In view of the above comparison, Wanhe engineers have provided a new design:
New WH312 Deep Well Corrosion-Resistant Level Sensor:
1. Material: For deep wells with more than 300 meters of saltwater brine, a titanium alloy sensor is used. The titanium alloy shell solves the sealing problem under 300 meters of water, and the outer layer is wrapped with polytetrafluoroethylene material to solve the corrosion problem;
2. The integrated structure design of the WH312 deep well corrosion-resistant sensor probe ensures normal operation under 1000 meters of water and has passed the 20MPa waterproof test (equivalent to 2000 meters of underwater waterproof);
3. High-strength polytetrafluoroethylene cable is used for signal transmission (during the placement process, pay attention to protecting the cable) to ensure real-time, high-precision, and stable output of the measurement signal;
III. Scheme Design Diagram and Installation Instructions
Installation Steps:
1. Place the WH312 deep well corrosion-resistant level probe directly to the bottom of the 300-meter deep well. During the placement process, it can go down with the deep well pump (generally, the level probe is placed 3-5 meters above the deep well pump). During the descent process, protect the polytetrafluoroethylene steel wire cable (if the cable is damaged, there will be no output signal).
2. Connect the red wire of the WH312 deep well level probe to terminal 16, the green wire to terminal 14, and terminals 23 and 24 to a 220V power supply (a 24V power supply model can also be selected, using battery power), and the display will show the current real-time deep well level depth. It has built-in high and low level alarms, and the normally closed point of the low level alarm can also be connected to the intermediate relay of the deep well pump to form a loop, which can achieve the function of stopping the pump at a low level, protecting the deep well pump, and preventing idling and dry burning.
