The WH311 groundwater level automatic monitoring instrument assists in the pumping test of a 640-meter deep well, achieving high-precision dynamic water level monitoring

In a recent large-scale hydrogeological survey project, the WH311 groundwater level automatic monitoring instrument was successfully applied to a pumping test with a well depth of 640 meters, real-time monitoring of the dynamic water level at 455 meters, and a water temperature of 15.2℃. For the narrow well casing (inner diameter 2.5cm, outer diameter 3cm), the equipment uses an 18mm diameter probe and polyurethane anti-pull steel wire cable, perfectly adapting to the well casing space and avoiding the installation difficulties caused by the oversized size of traditional equipment.
The WH311 has a built-in strong anti-high pressure sensor chip, which calculates the water level through the static water pressure principle (P=ρgh), with a measurement range of 0-1000 meters and a pressure resistance test of up to 2000 meters of water pressure. The integrated stainless steel sealed structure ensures long-term stability. Equipped with a dedicated WH6 display recorder, it automatically records data at a frequency of 1 minute/time, supports continuous storage for 365 days, and transmits signals wirelessly to a control center 5000 meters away, with an accuracy error of only 1cm.

This scheme performed excellently in the pumping test. Real-time data is accessed through the Modbus protocol to the hydrological monitoring platform to generate dynamic curves and reports, providing accurate data for analysis of aquifer water richness.
